Welcome to another episode of “Posting Every Day Until I Reach a Million Subs.” My name is Lelo, and I help moms find legitimate remote work opportunities. And this video is probably going to be on the shorter side just because I do have my webinar in less than 20 minutes. [laughter] So anyways, I hope you’re having an amazing weekend.
Two Non-Phone Jobs
Today we’re going to discuss two non-phone jobs. There’s going to be a total of six links. These are all entry-level remote roles. I had someone comment that they were able to obtain a job through Tech thanks to one of my videos. Um, if you are watching this video, this is specifically for you.
Don’t Stay There for Too Long
I want you to take that opportunity, but don’t stay there for too long. You’re going to go from there and apply to one of these companies or one of these roles that I’m going to mention, ’cause you’re going to come back to this video later on. And even if the video is old, you always want to go directly on the company websites and into, in their career section.
Give It About Six Months
And sometimes what’s going to happen is these companies will hire for the same roles again. So I just want to throw that out there for you specifically. I would say give it about six months, and then it’s time to start moving on. Um, or if not, join the community, and we’ll be more than happy to come out with a strategy for you.
PerfectServe Is Open 24/7
Um, okay. So I’m going to pause here and share my screen. Okay. And we are back. So we’re going to start with PerfectServe. They’re hiring for a Technical Support Specialist Tier 1. Now, one important thing about this company specifically is that they are open 24/7.
Looking for Jobs That Are Overnight
Uh, this is why I mentioned it’s important. I have people that are looking for jobs to do after their job. So, I think it’s called moonlighting. And this is one of those companies that off, may offer you that opportunity. When you’re looking for jobs that are, uh, overnight, you want to look for companies that are open 24/7.
Training During the Day Is the Sucky Part
I will let you know as of right now, most of these companies require you to do training during the day, which is the sucky part. I’ve only heard of a handful of companies that do training, um, during the night, and one of them is General Dynamics. They are called Maximus now.
$19 an Hour to Start
Um, so yeah, this is going to be PerfectServe. They’re hiring for a support specialist. The compensation for this is $19 an hour to start. There is a shift differential for nights and weekends, plus a comprehensive benefits package effective on day one.
Comprehensive Benefits Package
So, the comprehensive, effective, uh, I’m sorry, the comprehensive, uh, benefits package is basically like your 401k, health insurance, um, you’re probably accruing PTO as well. And then really important, most schedules include one weekend day and some holiday coverage. We’re currently hiring for both day and night shift.
Hiring Is About to Start Slowing Down
So, you know, I’m about to make my video introducing this, uh, YouTube video with that non-phone night shift. Now, this role starts November the 16th. So, they’re hiring a month ahead. And this is actually not terrible, because one thing about companies, hiring is about to start slowing down.
We Expect 100% Attendance
I know for sure there are already a handful of companies that are still taking, um, apps, but they’re not going to be interviewing much, if any, for the rest of the year. They don’t have any training classes starting this year anymore. Uh, so, let’s see. We expect you to maintain perfect attendance throughout your first 60 days.
My Recruiter Told Me It Was Fine
This nesting period is what sets you up to succeed once you’re on your own. Keep that in mind. A lot of the companies will require you to be there for, um, you know, for, for the training. I know I’ve had people that start a job and they’re like, “Well, I told my recruiter, and my recruiter said it was okay.”
Under a Trainer
Whatever your recruiter is telling you is telling you, it’s not what your training supervisor is going to tell you. It’s not what the trainer is going to tell you. None of those people. So, once you start training, you’re going to be under a trainer.
Your Recruiter Is Out of the Picture
You’re going to, you’re going to know who your supervisor is, and then your supervisor has a manager to respond to. Your recruiter is basically out of the picture for the most part. So, whatever you are speaking about with your recruiter, it may not translate over to, um, the people doing training.
Termination Would Be the Proper Term
So, just make sure that if you see here, we expect 100% attendance during your first 60 days, they expect you to be there. Um, you may have like a one-off day, but I think that’s about it. They will lay you off after a while or just terminate you. I think that’s the proper term. Termination would be the proper term for this.
I Read Something That I Did Not Like
Now, I wanted to check something because I did see here, this is supposed to be off the phones. Let me verify something, ’cause I was skimming and I read something that I did not like. You’ll have a unique opportunity to, this involve consistent efforts.
On Call Schedule Management
As a support specialist, you’ll support and troubleshoot for PerfectServe end users, physicians, nurses, and system administrators day-to-day. The means that means user account management and user education on call schedule management. Oh, got it. So, being on call means they could contact you unexpectedly and ask you to work at the last minute.
Remember This, Hardwired
That’s how I’m going to take it. So, this is normal: dedicated, distraction-free home workspace. Hardwired. Remember this, hardwired. Um, hardwired is when you have to be directly connected. No Wi-Fi, no, um, no Wi-Fi, no none of that Elon Musk internet.
You Are Going to Be Taking Some Calls
Here we go. This is, I knew I saw this somewhere. Field incoming client communications via phone, chat, and our online customer portal. Help end users administer their PerfectServe applications and train them on our phone, mobile, and web tools. So, you’re probably going to be taking some calls.
Bear with Me
Well, not probably. You are going to be taking some calls. I’m going to pause this right here. Bear with me. Okay. And we are back. So, you are going to be doing calls for this one. Well, you’re probably getting calls, chat, and our online customer portal.
It’s Probably Going to Just Be Physicians
What my thought process is going to be with this, I was reviewing it while I had you on pause real quick, is that although you’re going to be taking some calls, it’s probably going to just be physicians. So, you’ll probably be dealing with physicians, and that’s where on-call schedule management comes into play.
Internal Advancement Opportunity
Okay. And as mentioned, the pay is $19 an hour. Like I said, the benefits are the health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401k. They do have 17 company holidays, two floating holidays, plus competitive paid time off policy, and internal, I like when they put this here, internal advancement opportunity.
Why Do You Want to Work Here?
So, when you, um, answer the famous questions, “Why do I work here? Why do you want to work here?” this is perfect. You can bring this up because they’re mentioning it themselves that one of the benefits of working with them is internal advancement opportunities.
The Final One Is Conduent
Okay, so the final one we’re going to review today is with Conduent. You’re hiring for a Medical Benefit Reviewer, Review Services Associate. The schedule for this one is 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. It is fully remote, is $18 an hour.
There’s No Excluded States
Now, I know for Conduent, they only hire in certain states. So, these are the states that they are not hiring in. I didn’t see any excluded states for this one, PerfectServe. So, you’re good to apply even if you are in California and New York. There’s no excluded states. Let’s just go and scroll down to just double-check.
Your First 60 Days Is a Day Shift
$19 an hour. Please note your first 60 days is a day shift. You see? So, your first 60 days of employment will be a Monday through Friday day shift. You must be on camera during meetings and collaborative sessions.
You Must Be on Camera
So, you’re not always going to be on camera, but when they, when you are having meetings, they’re going to require you to be on camera, which is not terrible. Uh, this is Conduent. They’re only hiring in these states right here. California and New York are one of the states that are excluded, but you can still apply to this one.
ABC Legal and LabCorp
I believe ABC Legal, they’re hiring for a Data Entry Specialist. This one pays $15 an hour. Um, is remote but must be located. Okay, so this one you must be in Alabama. And then we have Accounts Receivable Specialist with LabCorp. This one I also believe is work from home.
I Would Apply
There may be some excluded states. This job is in two locations. So, uh, it says remote, United States of America. I don’t see any exclusions for this specific role. So, I would apply. And the pace here, you must have one year experience of accounts receivable.
If You Have Any AR Experience
So, if you have any AR experience, this is perfect for you. See, minimum qualifications, and the schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Then I’m also going to include this one. We’ve talked about Revenue Cycle Specialist on here and how you can be able to get to this role.
At Least One Year of EMS Billing Experience
Uh, they pay $17 to $20 an hour. So, I think even with just 6 months experience, um, at least one to two years experience processing health insurance claims and/or denials or other healthcare accounts receivable experience, or one to two years experience in medical billing experience, or at least one year of EMS billing experience.
With 6 Months, You’d Still Be Able to Apply
So, they want you to have at least a year of experience. I think with this, with 6 months, you’d still be able to apply. So, I’m going to include all of these links for you in the comments down below. I’m sorry, in the description section.
Let Me Know What You Want Me to Cover
Um, and that’s it for this video. I feel like this video was one of my quickest videos, but like I said, I have my, um, webinar in like eight minutes. Alright, I’ll leave it there for now. Let me know in the comments what you’d like me to cover next.
My Favorite Role
But, PerfectServe, although you may be taking some calls, this has to be my favorite role just because you do have that overnight, uh, potential, ’cause they’re hiring for day and overnight shifts. I’ll see you in the next one, and you’re dealing with decisions, so it’s not going to be terrible.
Have an Amazing Week Ahead
That’s, that’s also a thing, you know. Okay. Well, I’ll see you in the next one. Have an amazing week ahead. Bye.
Every heading is built only from words that appear in its own paragraph, and the paragraph text is unchanged. The title prompt at the end of your message doesn’t include an actual title again, so if you paste the one you’d like converted, I’ll work on it.
